| Moed A Grades | Moed A grades are now available on the GR++ system along with the specific grades received for each of the 5 questions.
In order to calculate your final grade please follow the following factor steps:
1. Choose the sum of the grades of the best 4 questions out of the 5.
2. Multiply the above sum by 5/4.
3. Round the value upwards to the nearest integer if needed.
4. Add 11 points.
In case the factored grade after step (4) was missing up to 2 points in order to receive a passing grade, change the grade to the minimal passing grade of 55.
Tomorrow instructions and deadline for the submission of appeals will be sent. |

| Exam Instructions | The front page of the exam is uploaded to the site
and it contains the standard instructions for an exam in Algorithms 1.
Please go over it before the exam.
Some important things to note:
1. The exam is on Wednesday 29.2.2012.
2. As in all previous semesters, you are allowed to bring a single A4 page written on both sides. No other material is allowed.
3. There are 5 questions in the exam each worth 20 points each.
4. As written in the course syllabus, the exam contains one question from the homework given this semester.

| Opening a New Lecture | Due to the massive increase in the number of students, a second lecture group has been opened.
There are two possible times for this lecture group:
Monday 14:30-16:30 (in parallel to the current lecture group)
Tuesday 12:30-14:30
Students who wish to attend the Tuesday option and are able to commit for it, please send an email to Roy informing him by Wednesday evening.
If the number of students who prefer the Tuesday option will not be high enough,
the second lecture group will be opened on Monday in parallel to the existing lecture.
The issue will be settled on Thursday morning, so your quick response is needed.

The junior staff strike ended, and all tutorials start as of tomorrow.
The current tutorials times for each TA are updates on the site.
