For some reason, many students cannot view their scanned exam.
Students who ran into this problem, may email the faculty secretariat and
their exam will be sent to them.
Appeals deadline will be extended by one day untill 24.9.12 at 16:00.

| Midterm 2 grades |
Grades for midterm 2 are now published.
The exam will be scanned and will be visible in the faculty grades website shortly.

If you choose to appeal, please read carefully the following submission procedure. Appeals not complying with this procedure will not be considered.
1. Appeals should be submitted by an email to Sarit until Sunday, September 23th at 4pm. No appeals will be received after this date/time.
2. You should specify exactly why you believe your grade should be raised (i.e., state the question and sub-question number, and where you believe there was a grading error).
Arguments about the number of points reduced will not in general be accepted. Your appeal should be concise and convincing.
3. Please attach a copy of your exam.
4. Note that the entire exam may be re-inspected in each case (so appeals may increase or decrease your final grades).
5. Oral appeals will not be considered and specifically you cannot consult with the course staff about your chances to get more points!

The second middle exam will be held on Tuesday, 4.9.12, at 17:30.
The exam is 90 minutes long.
Classrooms will be published in a separate announcement.
The material for this exam includes all the material that was taught
in the lectures, starting from recurrence relations and until (notincluding) directed trees.
The exam, will consist of questions from homework assignments 3 and 4
(Homework 4 will be published later on today),
perhaps with subtle changes, as well as questions that concern
directly to the lectures material.
I will hold an extra office hour on Monday, 3.9.12, at 12:30.

For some reason , no one attended to the tutorial class today.
Perhaps you did not receive the massage that this tutorial is not canceled afterall.
Anyhow, the students of Thursday’s tutorial group, are asked to attend to
Monday tutorial next week, since next Thursday I’ll teach tutorials #3 and #4.
